A Scam Email with the Subject "REQUST FOR YOUR HELP" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 23 Oct 2009 10:55:14 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was MR JOHN WILLIAM <>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear sir/madam

It is obvious that this notification will come to you as a surprise
but please find time to read it carefully,Coupled with my deep interest to
invest in your country, I decided to contact you and solicit your mutual
assistance at all cost. I am Mr john william Branch Manager, Barclays Bank Plc.

In 31st October 1999, One Mr.Neal Walker, a consultant/contractor with the
Federal Ministry of Mines and Power made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit,
valued at ?6,500 000 00 GBP (Six million, five hundred thousand Great British
pounds sterling)
we sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply.
After five year, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract
employers that Mr.Neal Walker died in an air crash along with his wife on the
31st October 1999 in an Egyptian airline 990 with other passengers on board was
an American Oil consultant/contractor with the Chinese Solid Minerals
Corporation. You can confirm his death from the website below which was
published by BBC WORLD NEWS.

His sum of ?6,500 000 00 GBP is still in my Bank and the interest is being
rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one has come
forward for the claim. Now Barclays Bank has issued out a notice that if no one
comes for claim within Ten year the account will be confiscated.
