A Scam Email with the Subject "Message From HSBC Online Banking" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 03 Oct 2006 07:35:48 -0700 and has been classified as a Phishing, ID Theft Scam. The sender was HSBC Bank UK <onlineservice@hsbc.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.


Dear Customer,

HSBC BANK PLC is constantly working to increase
security for all Online Banking Customers . To ensure
the integrity of our online payment system, we periodically
review accounts.

Your account might be place on restricted status.Restricted
accounts continue to receive payments,but they are
limited in their ability to send or withdraw funds.
