A Scam Email with the Subject "Important Security Notice" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 22 Dec 2008 07:12:21 -0500 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Wells Fargo Online Banking"<onlineservices@wellsfargo.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Wells Fargo Member,
  
Wells Fargo Bank  has been decided to implement EV  SSL Certification on our Online Banking website.
The use of EV SSL certification works with high security Web browsers to clearly identify whether
the site belongs to the company or is another site imitating that company's site.


Please update your account to the new EV SSL certification UPDATE NOW.
