An Email with the Subject "Instruction for your Inheritance Payment By Certified International Bank Cheque" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 04 Apr 2009 19:08:26 -0400 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Tim L'Estrange"<clarkecc44@googlemail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

We have received an International Bank Cheque payment instruction from the Bank of England in the total sum of US$5,390,000 in your favour to be released and payable at your bank. Instructions from the Bank of England inform that this payment covers an inheritance debt owed to you. We are to release this sum by this CERTIFIED INTERNATIONAL BANK CHEQUE within 3-days of this payment notice and endorsement in accordance with our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and payment instructions with the Bank of England. PROCEDURE FOR CLEARING YOUR CHEQUE: 1. The procedure for clearing your check is simple but the only thing is that you cannot cash it at the counter; it must be paid into your account with your bank due to the volume of the cheque. 2.
