An Email with the Subject "FROM THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 22 Nov 2008 12:42:57 -0500 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE"<repdept@nigerianpoliceforce.org>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

In reference to the above subject matter referred, we the Nigeria Police Force in conjunction with a commission set up by the world world and other international financial lenders to harmonize and reschedule the payment of Nigeria debt to its debtors hereby require your attention.
                 
since the Nigeria Government has intensified efforts over the years for debt relief/cancellation, the World Bank, Imf, Paris club, Unicef, WHO and other international financial lenders have drcided to consider Nigerian plea by granting a 60% debt cancellation.
 
In view of this, out of the total debt of 367 billion US DOllars, about 220.2 billion U.S Dollars relief has been granted to Nigeria to encourage development in the area of infrastructure, agriculture, education and health sectors.
                
The balance of 146.8 billion US Dollars, which the Nigeria Government has accepted to pay in two installments, 100 billion US Dollars has been paid by the end of January 2008 and the remaining 46.8 billion US Dollars will be paid by Novemberthis year.
                            
Amongst the list of individual creditors your name/company appeared in the list as one of the beneficiaries of the first US$100 Billion released by the Nigerian Government.
 
You are hereby directed to furnish the World Bank commission with details of your Financial debt with the Nigerian Government via contact Mr. Henry Lawson on this Email Address:h.lawson@consultant.com to accommodate your name is disbursing the US$100 Billion made available by Nigerian Government.
