A Scam Email with the Subject "Your Online Banking Password was changed" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 12 May 2008 18:57:07 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was wachovia Bank <ibanking@online2.wachovia.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Your password for Wachovia Online Banking* was changed on Monday May 12, 2008.

If you did not change your password, please login to your online banking stop this change.

We take your security very seriously. To help keep your Online Banking information safe,
be careful not to share your password with anyone else.

Please be aware that wachovia will never ask you to provide, confirm or verify confidential
information like your online banking ID, password, account numbers, balances or PIN
through regular email. If you receive an email that appears to be from wachovia which asks
you to provide or verify this type of information, it may be fraudulent.
