A Scam Email with the Subject "Fw: NOTIFICATION FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE CONTRACT/INHERITANCE PAYMENT CODE:(FGN/PAY/009)." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 07 Mar 2009 09:45:02 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Pete Cursi" <webpete@verizon.net>, although it may have been spoofed.

This is to officially inform you that we have verified your payment file and found out that why you have not received your payment are because you have not
followed the official and legal procedures given to you by the Federal
Government of Nigeria in respect of your payment release without much
responsibility on your side.

Secondly we have been informed that you are still dealing with none officials in the bank and other Government institutions for the pursuit to secure the
release of your fund to you.

We wish to advise you that such an illegal acts like these have to stop
immediately if you wish to receive your payment since we have decided to bring
a solution to the problems causing delay/hitches to your payment release.
