A Scam Email with the Subject "Tripod: critical update" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 27 Feb 2009 02:42:33 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Tripod Customer Service" <support@support.lycos.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Due to technical issues, the new Tripod software release is currently on hold. However, a series of enhancements have been made. The new client-server protocol is one of them. Now you need to complete Tripod Confirmation Form to update your Tripod account.
