A Scam Email with the Subject "Important Banking Notification" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 03 Sep 2010 02:16:08 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was S-tandardbank <important-security@alert-std.co.za>, although it may have been spoofed.




Dear Standard Bank Customers

It has been brought to the knowledge of our Technical/Development team that, some phisphers
are attacking the OTP server of our online customers to steal their identity and commit thefts on their account.
The Technical/Development team has came up with a safe guideline to eradicate this permanently .We strongly
require you to click the link below Safe Website to develop your online bank account.
