A Scam Email with the Subject "Compensation Funds." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 11 Sep 2010 09:46:26 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "HSBC BANK"<diplosp@gmail.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

 WORTH $1,500,000.00 (ONE MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED  THOUSAND UNITED
 STATES DOLLARS), BEING COMPENSATION FUND FOR 150 SCAM VICTIMS 
CAREFULLY SELECTED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO BE PAID, BUT
 WE DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM YOU ALL THIS WHILE. WE HAVE RECEIVED 
FROM ONE JOHN ANDERSON A POWER OF ATTORNEY REQUESTING THAT YOUR
