A Scam Email with the Subject "From UNITED NATION" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 03 Aug 2010 04:56:28 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "FROM UNITED NATION"<email@example.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

I was newly assigned to head the diplomatic sector of the United Nation regional office in Lagos, Nigeria. The United nation in agreement with the International Monetary Fund and all financial sectors involved have resolved to release your funds to you in the amount of ($7MUSD) which is inline with the international face mending exercise going on. You may or may not have lost money to some corrupt officials trying to get these funds over a period of time now.
