This email with the subject "REQUEST FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP/ASISTANCE" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 14 Jul 2010 17:21:48 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam.

The sender was "Mr.Olusegun O Aganga"<>, although it may have been spoofed.

Firstly, I must solicit your confidence in this transaction; this is by virtue of its nature as being utterly confidential and top secret. Though I know that a transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive and worried, but I am assuring you that all will be well at the end of the day.
My name is Mr Olusegun O Aganga, Minister for Finance & Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Payment Matters Federal Republic of Nigeria. I came to know of you in my private search for a reliable and reputable person to handle a very confidential transaction, which involves the transfer of a huge sum of money to a foreign account which required maximum confidence.
Source of Fund:
A foreigner, (Late Engineer William Adams), an oil Merchant /contractor with the federal Government of Nigeria, until his death three years ago in a ghastly car crash, banked with the Union Bank PLC, Lagos, and had a closing balance of USD$10.2M (Ten Million, Two Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) which the bank now unquestionably expects to be claimed by any of his available Relative or next of kin.
Fervent valuable efforts are being made by the Union Bank to get in touch with any of late Engr. William Adams's next of kin since at the Nigeria immigration port of entry he had no known wife and children that the management and board of directors, are making arrangement for the fund to be declared "UNCLAIMABLE " and then be subsequently be returned to the federal treasury and consider the deceased account frozen.
