This Email with the Subject "Update your eBay account information within 48 hours to avoid suspension." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 31 Dec 2006 23:13:26 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "eBay" <email@example.com>, although that address was probably spoofed. We recommend that you do not attempt to contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
For the User Agreement, Section 9, we may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us. We may also take these actions if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us.
