A Scam Email with the Subject "Confirm your eBay account" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 01 May 2006 19:53:28 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "eBay Security Service" <confirm@ebay.com>, although it may have been spoofed.


 
Security Center Advisory!

We recently have determined that different computers have logged onto your eBay account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us. If this is not completed by May 05, 2006, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.
