A Scam Email with the Subject "Restore Your Paypal Account" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 16 Jul 2006 11:13:23 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "PayPal"<aw-confirm@ebay.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear member,

As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the 
PayPal system. We recently contacted you after noticing an issue on your 
account.We requested information from you for the following reason:

Our system requires further account verification.

You have added ariadne@ariadnescrown.com as a new email address for 
your PayPal account.

If you didn`t make this update please verify your information by following
the link below:

PROTECT YOUR PASSWORD

NEVER give your password to anyone, including PayPal employees. Protect 
yourself against fraudulent websites by opening a new web browser (e.g. 
Internet Explorer or Netscape) and typing in the PayPal URL every time 
you log in to your account.
