Unadvertised In-House Position
Hound Search Jobs Direct from Employer Career Pages
Hi,

Getting an in-house position is not easy because in-house jobs typically receive thousands of applications once they are publicized either (1) on public job boards or (2) through recruiters. Accordingly, most attorneys have a very difficult time getting in-house jobs. Some spend years looking for them.

The advice I am about to give you is something very few attorneys know about. The attorneys who have followed this advice have had excellent results. However, most attorneys are too "stuck in their ways" and believe that job-search methods that put them into competition with thousands of others for the same in-house job(s) are the best. I hope you take a moment to review this email -- if you are looking for a new in-house job or a better one. I am confident this email will end any frustration that you are experiencing in your job search.

In-House Jobs Are Not Difficult to Get if You Know Where to Look and Use the Right Tools to Search. Attorneys, who are diligent in their searches and use the right sources, can easily get several in-house job interviews even within their first week of searching. I know of a way you can "go around the crowd" when looking for in-house jobs and tap into a source of jobs that have received very few applications. As hard as this may be to believe, there are literally hundreds of employers around the country that are "hungry" for in-house attorneys to work for them and are not receiving any applications.

Hound.com Monitors the Career Pages of Over 10,000 Companies for Jobs and Finds In-House Jobs That Are Not Publicized Anywhere. Most companies post all of their jobs on their websites and only advertise a few. Because advertising costs money ($500-plus for a single posting on Monster.com, for example), employers only advertise jobs they have a difficult time filling. In-house attorney jobs typically are fairly easy for employers to fill and are usually

(1) not given to recruiters and
(2) not advertised.

These jobs are, however, posted on the employer websites for you to find. The issue is that there are 10,000+ employer websites and very few attorneys know of all of the companies that they need to look at for openings. For example, there are likely hundreds of in-house attorney jobs on Hound.com that you will not see elsewhere and that you may be the first to apply for.

What's more, Hound.com is absolutely free for seven days. People who have used Hound.com for in-house job search have had exceptional results. You too will have excellent results if you use Hound.com for your in-house job search. Sign up now to activate your 7-day free trial.

Cordially,
A. Harrison Barnes
