A Scam Email with the Subject "IRS Notification - Tax Refund" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 26 Oct 2007 18:42:48 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was "Internal Revenue Service" <service@irs.gov>, although it may have been spoofed.



After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that
you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $192.81.
Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 2-3 days in order to
process it.

A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons.
For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.
