A Scam Email with the Subject "Your Payment File Has Been Shortlisted For Final Payment" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 11 Apr 2015 19:27:57 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Citibank Group"<admin@citigroup.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

This is to bring to your notice that approval have been granted by the United Nations to the 
Citibank Group to serve as Payment Office to compensate victims who have been scammed globally 
through the internet services part payment of $850,000.00 (Eight Hundred and fifty Thousand United 
States Dollars)for the first quarter this fiscal year 2015.

According to the number of applicants at hand, 29682 Beneficiaries has been paid, 50% of the 
victims are from the United states, we still have more than 20% left to be paid their due 
compensation.

As of this date, we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to contact you regarding this 
development as all my mails has always been returned undelivered. You were listed and approved for 
this payment as one of the lucky beneficiaries to be paid this compensation fee. Get back to me as 
soon as possible for detailed email and the immediate release of your compensation payment
