A Scam Email with the Subject "Update Your Lloyds TSB Account." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 16 Apr 2008 15:16:40 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Lloyds TSB" <email@example.com>, although it may have been spoofed.
Dear client of Lloyds TSB Internet banking,
Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of your Lloyds TSB account we
have issued this warning message. It has come to our attention that your
Lloyds TSB account information needs to be updated as part of our continuing
commitment to protect your account and to reduce the instance of fraud on
our website If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience
and update your personal records so that you will not run into any future problems
with the online service.
Once you have updated your account records, your Online Account service will not
be interrupted and will continue as normal.
