A Scam Email with the Subject "abbey : security notification alert" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 23 Mar 2008 13:19:27 -0700 and has been classified as a Phishing, ID Theft Scam. The sender was abbey alert <abbey@online.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

During our usual security enhancement protocol,

we observed multiple login attempt error while login in to your online Abbey account.

We have believed that someone other than you is trying to access your account

For security reasons,we have temporarily suspend your account

and your access to online banking and will be restricted if you fail to update.
