A Scam Email with the Subject "PayPal - Critical Account Information" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 16 Nov 2007 17:43:03 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "PayPal Review Department"<firstname.lastname@example.org>, although it may have been spoofed.
Dear PayPal account holder, We recently have determined that different computers have logged onto your PayPal account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us. If this is not completed by November 15th, 2007, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner and we apologise for any inconveniences.
