This email with the subject "PayPal Security Service Notification (IMPORTANT)" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 17 Aug 2006 03:43:15 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam.
The sender was PayPal <email@example.com>, although it may have been spoofed.
We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address and we have reasons to believe that your account was hijacked by a third party without your authorization.
