A Scam Email with the Subject "Online Banking Report For 11/12/07 : Secure Your Access Code" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 11 Dec 2007 11:27:58 -0800 and has been classified as a Phishing, ID Theft Scam. The sender was Nationwide Alerts!!! <Onlinebanking@nationwide.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.



Dear Valued Nationwide Customer,

Days ago our online banking security team
has observed multiple logins on your account,
from different blacklisted IP's, that's why
we have issued this security warning to alert you about this.
We have noticed that most of our online customers have been ignoring the messages been sent by the online alert team Due to
this, we are installing a code at each transaction on your account and hence forth before the processes of any transaction in your account,

the code given to you at this alert will be requested
for you to secure your account and get your activation code you are to following the reference below and to fill in your online details with care to avoid blockage of your account.
