A Scam Email with the Subject "Protect Your ANZ Online Banking Account" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 21 Aug 2007 23:21:10 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was Anz Online Security Department <Secure@Anz.Com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Valued ANZ Customer

Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of the ANZ account we have issued this warning message. It has come to our attention that your ANZ account information
needs to be updated as part of our continuing commitment to protect your account
and to reduce the instance of fraud on our website If you could please take 5-10 minutes
out of your online experience and update your personal records so that you will not run into
any future problems with the online service.

Once you have updated your account records, your Online Account service will not be
interrupted and will continue as normal.
