This email with the subject "Security: Your Online Banking Account is Blocked" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 08 Mar 2007 06:30:51 -0800 and has been classified as a Phishing, ID Theft Scam.
The sender was " HSBC Security " <email@example.com >, although it may have been spoofed.

Some customers have been receiving an email claiming to be from Hsbc Bank advising them to follow a link to what appear to be a Hsbc Bank web site, where they are prompted to enter their personal Online Banking details. Hsbc Bank is in no way involved with this email and the web site does not belong to us.
