A Scam Email with the Subject "IMPORTANT - Halifax SSL Server Upgrade" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 25 Nov 2006 02:27:14 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was Halifax Bank Plc <onlineservice@halifax.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Customer,
Our Technical Service department has recently updated our online banking
software, and due to this upgrade we kindly ask you to follow the
link given below to confirm your online account details. Failure to
confirm the online banking details will suspend you from accessing your
account online.
