A Scam Email with the Subject "Please upgrade your online banking access." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 18 Oct 2006 04:12:38 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was Halifax Online <>, although it may have been spoofed.

We've upgraded our new SSL servers to serve our customers for a better and
secure banking service,against any fraudulent activities. Due to this recent upgrade,
you are requested to update your account information by
following the reference below.
