A Scam Email with the Subject "UPGRADE ONLINE BANKING" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 22 Apr 2006 12:55:27 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was Bank Of America <firstname.lastname@example.org>, although it may have been spoofed.

20th April 2006 our security system detected an unsuccessful access attempt to your online account from Ip address 220.127.116.11 that does not correspond to your current address.

If you do not verify your account until 30th April 2006 your account will be SUSPENDED for security reasons and we shall send you an Activation Code by post which you will need to renew your online banking service access. You will receive this within seven working days if your current address is not confirmed.
