A Scam Email with the Subject "Barr.Richird Compensation" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 23 Oct 2007 01:50:37 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Barr Richard Moore" <barr.richard.compensation@gmail.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

I am using this opportunity to thank you for your great effort to our unfinished transfer of 18.5Musd into your account due to one reason or the other best known to you,But I want to inform you that I have successfully transferred the funds out of the company to someone else who was capable of assisting me in this great venture.
 
Due to your effort, at the course of the transaction I want to compensate you and show my gratitude to you with the sum of $450,000.00 (FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) I have authorized the finance house where I deposited my money to issue you International certified bank draft cashable at your bank.
