A Scam Email with the Subject "Keep your account safe" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 07 Mar 2013 05:29:30 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was "Permanent TSB" <server101@permanenttsb.ie>, although it may have been spoofed.

 

Dear Permanent TSB Customer,

We are always working to improve our Open24 banking service. In addition to your
Open24 Number, Internet Password and Personal Access Number:, you will now need a
code that Open24 will send you via text or voice call to always access all
Open24 accounts. This procedure is to always keep your account secure.
