A Scam Email with the Subject "Online Banking Security" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 14 Nov 2012 06:43:09 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was Nationwide <onlinesecurity@nationwide.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.

Note: This is a service message with information related to your Nationwide account(s). It may include specific details about transactions, products or online services. If you recently cancelled your account, please disregard this message.

It has been discovered by our security systems that your Nationwide account has been affected by a malicious spyware which could be as a result of logging onto your online banking from an unprotected system.
