A Scam Email with the Subject "email success in our computer balloting" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 01 Aug 2007 05:44:17 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was award dept <awarddept2007@web.de>, although it may have been spoofed.

We wish to congratulate you over your email success in our computer balloting sweepstake held on 1st August,2007.This is a Millennium Scientific Computer Game in which email addresses were used. It is a promotional program aimed at encouraging internet users; therefore you do not need to buy ticket to enter for it. You have been approved for the star prize of US $950,000:00(Nine Hundred And Fifty Thousand United State Dollars Only).

To claim your winning prize you are to contact the appointed agent as soon as possible for the immediate release of your winnings:
