A Scam Email with the Subject "Hope" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 03 Sep 2011 08:51:37 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Ahmed Korogo" <>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Friend,

This message might meet you in utmost surprise. However, it's just my urgent need for foreign partner that made me to contact you. My name is Ahmed Korogo, there is problem (war) in my country which have already claim the life of thousand as such I am running away with the remaining family out of (Tripoli) Libya.

Nevertheless, I have the sum of $7.2 million cash that was concealed in a Two Trunk Boxes and deposited with a Private Security Company in the Republic of Burkina Faso and I herein need someone like you to assist me by standing as the Owner and Beneficiary of the aforementioned Fund.
