A Scam Email with the Subject "Dear Friend," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 31 Dec 2009 08:33:08 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was david johnson <>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Friend,
I wan to transfer US$10.5 Million to your bank account. The fund belong to our deceased customer who died with his entire family in Iraq War 2006, leaving nobody for the claim and as such, I decided to contact you as to enable us claim the fund. Your share is 40% while 60% for me.
