A Scam Email with the Subject "Your ATM CARD From British High Commission" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 07 Nov 2008 21:20:48 -0500 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was =?utf-8?q?British=20Council?= <>, although it may have been spoofed.

- Hello, The British High Commission in Benin Republic, Nigeria, Ghana and Bokinafaso received a report of scam against you and other British/US citizens and Malaysia,Etc. whom the country of Nigeria/Benin, Bokinafaso And Ghana have recompensed you due to meeting held with Four countries Government and the world high commissions against fraud activities by the Four country Citizens.Your name was among those scammed as listed by the Benin Financial Intelligent Unit (BFIU). Compensation has been issued out in ATM CARD to all the affected victims and has been already in distribution to all the bearers.
