A Scam Email with the Subject "FROM THE DESK OF DR. PHILIP CHUKWU" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 11 Jan 2010 06:33:31 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "NNPC" <email@example.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

The politicians take every thing and we civil servants are not entitled to have foreign account by civil service law. As the incumbent chairman of this newly constituted panel, I have discussed with the First Bank of Nigeria Plc officials involved in this transaction and we have agreed to give you 25% of this fund for your assistance while 5% would be used to defray any expenses incurred during the course of this transaction.
