A Scam Email with the Subject "NOTIFICATION OF CONTRACT PAYMENT." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 12 Apr 2006 03:12:20 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was "Dr. Alfred" <info_alfredmorococbn@virgilio.it>, although it may have been spoofed.

I wish 
to inform you that your payment is being processed and will be released 
to you as soon as you respond to this letter,from Central Bank of 
Nigeria,CBN.
Also note that from the record in my file your outstanding 
contract payment is $1.5million dollars( One million five hundred 
thousand united States dollars) with the contract 
NLAG/FGN/FMF/CBN/B2517/99 Please re-confirm to me if this is inline 
with what you have in your record.

4)profession, 
age and marital status. 
5) Copy of int'l passport. 

As soon as this 
informations are received, your payment will be effected.You have to 
respond to this immediately to enable us confirm that the receipient is 
still a life, since these contract was executed long ago.Hence,as a 
result of the on-going drive of the Government to update its books and 
clear payment to contractors, I strongly recommend that you promptly 
start your clearance as soon as possible.Please if you'd received this
