A Scam Email with the Subject "Wells Fargo Online Alert : Verify Your Information" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 01 Oct 2008 03:33:28 -0400 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Service Wells Fargo" <onlinebanking@wellsfargo.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

After three unsuccessful attempts to access your account, your Wells Fargo Online Profile has been locked. This has been done to secure your accounts and to protect your private information. Wells Fargo is committed to making sure that your online transactions are secure.

To restore your account access, please take the following steps to ensure that your account has not been compromised:
