A Scam Email with the Subject "ALERT! REVIEW AND UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 12 Jun 2008 03:42:12 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was HALIFAX BANK PLC <online_banking@halifax.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.

It has come to our attention that your account Billing Information records are out of date.
That requires you to update the Billing Information.
Failure to update your records will result in account termination.
Please update your records within 24 hours. Once you have updated your account records,
your account session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
