Received a message on my mobile early yesterday morning asking me for a firm price on the car I was selling and could I email him. He replied saying he was on a rig on the Aquarius submersible and couldn't look at the car but wanted as much information about it as possible as he was purchasing it for his son as a gift for his graduation and wanted it to be a surprise for him. Offering a 2009 sun tracker party barge for VERY low price. The "seller" is supposedly a military spouse whose husband died 3 months ago. Says they to through Google Finance.... Scammed through Gumtree classification.
I have my car advertised on Gumtree. I responded to an inquiry via email and this was the email I received in return. He used the name Patrick but the email name came up as Mathew Crisell and if you google that name then he is a scammer!!

I was contacted about selling my car. She/ He said they have no phone , due to the fact that they were on board a ship with no comm. But That they needed pay-pal account info. so that money could be handled. Then they would send transport to pick up car and handle all paper work.
