Scamdex is all about scams, fraud and theft. The Internet has opened a world-wide Pandora's box of opportunities for parting people from their money. The lonely Nigerian widow who wants to share her fortune may be a member of the Russian mafia - this is how he makes his money and he's very good at it. Scamdex is a huge archive of carefully sifted email scams, categorized and analysed. The ScamBlog is commentary on the world of scams - scams which get bigger, cleverer and nastier day by day. Scamdex moves web hosts again and is getting better at it!

Well, the debate is over – I’m not going to host Scamdex at home, I’m just going to rent space on a collegue’s server over at NewsBlaze.com.

So I can continue to use Cpanel/WHM to administer my other domains without messing anything up too much.

Move went quite well for Scamdex – some additional Apache configuration in /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/blah/blah/blah/custom.conf and some tweaks to my code that relied a little too heavily on me being the root user :’(

The new machine is a four (dual) processor monster so there should be no excuse for sloth.
