I have just sent you three e mails copying letters I have received from Miss Kate Henshaw of the Ivory Coast.

 

This smells like a scam to me, but she has not asked for letterheads or money.  She has asked for my bank information to transfer money to the account.  What risks do I run if she has my account number?

 

Is this a scam?

I know you will not dispose this trust that I have bestowed on you.I have met with the Bank Director requesting clarity on our intention and he hesitated to give me the comprehensive details ,saying that it is not their culture of service, rather the proceedure will unfold itself as we proceed in making the transfer.I was made to understand that they have departmental heads. Furthermore he requested that an Application should be submitted by us. I am doing all that can make this happen and have been in consistent communication with them.


Since I  have no experience in these matters I am advicing you to contact  the bank  to advise us, it will be most helpful if you will be  able to communicate with a specific individual the International Remittance Director that is in charge of this matter.
